BENEFITING: Robin Hood
EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
Dear Friends and Family:
On November 3, I am running 26.2 poverty-fighting miles in the ING New York City Marathon for Team Robin Hood. In addition to the physical challenge of running a marathon, I have decided to take on the challenge of raising $5,000 to help improve the lives of the 1.8 million New Yorkers living in poverty.
Robin Hood holds steadfast to a single mission: fight poverty in New York City. We find, fund, create and nurture programs and schools that generate measurable results for families in New York’s poorest neighborhoods. We work closely with the organizations we support to help them to become more effective.
In 2012, Robin Hood raised and distributed more than $146 million to more than 200 programs and schools helping over 400,000 New Yorkers. A rigorous system of metrics and third-party evaluation of these groups guarantees accountability.
Because Robin Hood’s board of directors pays for all administrative and fundraising costs, 100% of every dollar you give goes directly to fund the poverty-fighting programs that Robin Hood supports.
I hope you will consider supporting me. Your gift will not only inspire me to cross the finish line, but more importantly will help save the lives of so many individuals and families throughout New York. Please visit my race webpage at https://www.crowdrise.com/JaimeMucciolo to donate in honor of my Race for Robin Hood.
Thank you so much for your support!

*Don’t forget to invite your friends to our mile 20 block party. We will have the entire block filled with people and entertainment by DJ Bonnie so when you get to the Bronx, you’ll know Robin Hood is with you all the way.
