I am participating in the Ronald McDonald House Walk on June 11 at Six Flags Great Adventure for my Bar Mitzvah project and I am trying to raise money to help families who have children in the hospital have a “home” near them.
The Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern New Jersey’s goal is to provide a true “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving care at medical facilities near their locations in Long Branch and New Brunswick. They offer a welcoming, supportive environment for families during a time of uncertainty and stress. Family members can stay together in a comfortable home with private rooms and many amenities, helping them to remain strong throughout the course of their child’s treatment.
The Ronald McDonald House is important to me because I have a brother that has a kidney disease and if he ever needed to stay in the hospital overnight, I would want to be close to him while he was there. I have met children whose families have stayed at RMH while they were in the hospital and they were able to have the support of their families that they needed to stay strong while being treated.
Any and every dollar counts to making the Houses better. So please help me by donating what you can to make sure very ill children can have their families stay close by at the Ronald McDonald House while they are healing in the hospital.

Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. and the one-mile walk will start at 9:00 A.M. Register by bringing your pledge form and money to your local Ronald McDonald House.
Register online and receive a free "Walk For Kids" t-shirt, (first-come, first-served), free parking and spend the day in the park!
Walkers 18 and under raise $50 minimum. Walkers 19 or older raise $75 minimum.
