J. Matthew Landis - The Crucible: 70.5 Mile Hike to Help Veterans

THE STORY:

This will be my second year hiking the Crucible, and I couldn't be more excited. The proceeds this year will benefit the single most important veteran organization in Pittsburgh, the Veterans Leadership Program of Western PA. They provide comprehensive human services solutions focused on Veterans and their families in western Pennsylvania, including temporary and permanent housing, employment, supportive services, qualified referrals, and intensive case management services. They really are a life saver, often literally, and I couldn't be more proud of the men and women that devote their lives to this work.

Last year, I was the sole representative from The Mission Continues - Pittsburgh on the trail. This year, we are rolling eight people deep. Help us help them, to help all veterans in the area find the services they need.
