Come take a stroll with Zoë as she honors World Rare Disease Month on Saturday, March 26th!
Global Genes™ is a leading non-profit organization that brings awareness to rare diseases such as Zoë’s TAR syndrome. They promote the needs of the rare disease community under a unifying symbol of hope, the Blue Denim Genes Ribbon™. This March, Global Genes™ is hosting their second annual virtual 5K, The Denim Dash, to bring awareness to the rare disease community.
Zoë would like to do her part by spreading awareness in her hometown, Lexington, KY, so she is hosting her own 5k stroll with her family and friends! You and your family are invited to join her on Saturday, March 26th as she proudly takes a stroll in her denim attire.
Once you register to join Zoë, you will receive:
- Dash T-Shirt (must register by 3/2/15 to receive t-shirt)
- Dash Bib & Safety Pins
- Medal (to the first 1,000 who register)
- Blue Denim Genes Ribbon to wear on your shirt
Net proceeds from The Denim Dash will go directly back to the Rare Disease Community through Global Genes' RARE Patient Impact Grant. That's what makes this 5K so different from others, the funds raised go directly into a program that positively impacts the rare community!
Everyone is welcome, so please spread the word! Zoë is looking forward to strolling with you on March 26th, and teaching everyone more about TAR, rare diseases and how to Grow Big. Be Strong™.
