Above tree line, at over 12,000 feet above sea level in Colorado an unsanctioned road running up Glacier Peak is causing huge amounts of erosion to spill down into the watershed. In 2016, Wildlands Restoration Volunteers will will close and restore this scar on the landscape in the White River National Forest. To complete this monumental task will require the work of many volunteers and this is where we need your help. WRV has worked with disadvantaged youth from across the Front Range of Colorado and this 2016 season we want to take a group of 8-12 youth up to Glacier Peak as an integral part of the restoration work and an indepth experince in nature. For some of these youth it will be their first time camping and for everyone it will be an something to remember for years to come. With your support we can make this dream a reality and connect the next generation to our beautiful public lands.
