Hi friends! I'm Jarrod Rodgers, a Mahomet native who once worked in the world of heavy equipment, rebuilding engines and transmissions as a diesel mechanic. Last August I took on quite a different role; I became the Retail Donation Coordinator for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. Now my days are filled with transporting food donations and helping our food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters acquire donations from local retailers. I see the need in our community daily. I also see the amazing people in our community that step up to help. Without our donors and volunteers, more than 116,000 people wouldn't have anywhere to turn for help. I'm proud to be a part of the Eastern Illinois Foodbank's mission. I hope you'll help alleviate local hunger - and crown me King of the Prom Benefit - by making a donation today. Don't forget, just $1 is equivalent to $10 worth of food at EIF!
