BENEFITING: Food Lifeline
I'm at it again, year 3! Clearly I don't remember saying "this was my last year" at the end of my last one day STP ride. But when you're helping a great organization like Food Lifeline, it's hard to stop. Food Lifeline serves 91,000 meals a day to hungry people in Western Washington.
Holy cow, you're thinking, how? Here's how: they work with the food industry and its surpluses, coming up with creative solutions to stopping hunger, including redirecting good food from manufacturers, farmers, grocery stores and restaurants that might otherwise go to waste.
If you want to support this great cause and don't want to bike ride 204+ miles in one day, please hit the donate button. You're supporting me by boosting morale, and helping feed a hungry person. $1 = 5 meals! Please help me reach my goal of $1,000. If I reach it, there is a match. $2,000 = 10,000 meals. LET'S DO IT!
