Jayden is an outgoing, loving & free-spirited seven year old. At 7 months old, he was diagnosed with epilespy. Routine EEG's show his seizures come from both the left and right side of the occipital lobe, until recently we found out they also come from the left temporal lobe as well. Around the age of 2, Jayden was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy which is a form that mainly affects the legs. He wears his AFO's and attends physical therapy weekly. Jayden loves to be outside and play with his younger brother & other children in our neighboorhood. However, it is hard for Jayden to ride a regular bicycle with his legs and it's scary for us to chance him having a seizure and falling off. Having this tricycle gives him a chance to be able to be a regular kid and ride a bicycle with all the other children, while helping him exercise his legs to keep them strong at the same time. This tricycle is custom ordered specifically for Jayden by his physical therapist, with his measurements along with things added on for his safety. Jayden has been placed on a wish list that can be anywhere from 2 months to two years, but with the help of our family and friends with donations, we can help him get his dream bike a little faster! Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and support!
