What does it take to finish your first ever marathon?
After finishing the NYRR 9+1 program to gain the entry for the New York City Marathon, i am about to find out this fall, but one thing i know for sure: Friends' supports are always HUGE attribution. What does it take to build a jazz museum? The National Jazz Museum in Harlem has been ensconced in its modest-size Harlem Office for more than six years, and its future new site, right across the historic Apollo Theater, is now closer than ever to break ground (it's been an abandoned mall for about 10 years, on the busiest street in Harlem, totally beyond imagination). And what it would take to build a museum might be a bit too much more than i could state, but it certainly needs your supports too! So please join me, be part of the run and the builders. Not only your donations will keep my head up along the 26.2 miles and give me some necessary kicks when "walls" ahead, but also would help to build a new home for jazz music in Harlem. "My destiny and dedication is to really put the grin back on the groove and help people to feel a certain love for the American art form of jazz and its history." -- Duffy Jackson. Hey, together we could do that too!
All your encouragement will be deeply appreciated.
C p.s. The Jazz Museum is having tons of awesome programs, please check out the website: www.jmih.org and join us sometime soon!
