Please help me get my daughter Jazzy into a new place to live by the end of August.
August 06, 2016
Jazmine is embarking on a new path this Fall. She is enrolled in the Eaton Arrowsmith Cognitive Learning Center, a school for young adults that have Learning Disabilities that affect their every day life.
She will be re-locating to a new city and will be spending two hours a day re-training her brain, based on the remarkable brain neuroplasticity that occurs as specific exercises strengthen the weak areas in her brain that cause the learning disabilities. She will actually be creating new Neuro Pathways.
Jazmine has struggled in school her entire school career, from Kindergarten through a year at University. Her learning disabilities have even affected her work life as well as her social life.
It was a gigantic blessing and a prayer answered when we found this school, for it has been such a struggle for her all these years. We are hoping to raise $33,000. This money will go towards many things: Tuition, Housing, Psychotherapy,'Chiropractic Care, Massage and Craniosacral Therapy. All of these things will help her to integrate the exercises she will be working hard on Monday thru Friday.
It has been suggested that Jazmine does not work during this first year due to the intensity of the brain re-training. It makes sense that the creation of new Neuro Pathways will require more rest, calm, and integration with the therapies above.
Jazmine will be volunteering a couple of days a week at the local Waldorf School in hopes to land a job during her second year at Eaton Arrowsmith. This will be right in line with Jazzy following her dream to become a Waldorf Handwork teacher once she has completed 2-3 years at Eaton Arrowsmith.
Be sure to check out the video about this amazing school that improves cognitive development and lives from the inside out.
Thank you in advance for your donation.
Have a Blessed Day.
