I'll be running the Twin Cities Marathon this year to show my support for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). In 2006, my younger brother, David was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes.
While David has learned to deal with his condition, my family and I are extremely hopeful that a cure is in the near future.
This cure would ensure that David wouldn't need to rely on insulin shots, checking his blood sugar religiously or monitoring every meal. It also would mean that he could go out with his friends and not have to worry (aka: make my mother worry) about forgetting something essential.
Please consider donating any dollar value to JDRF. Thank you for supporting David and me!
