THE STORY:

Welcome!

My name is Juwan Hall and I live in Memphis Tennessee. I graduated from Whitehaven High School this May. However, instead of heading straight to college, I am taking a bridge year with Global Citizen Year. I will be living in Ecuador for eight months while working on an apprenticeship and being completely immersed. I am taking this leap because I believe it will allow me to become more independent, open-minded, globally-conscious, confident, and it will prepare me for my college years ahead. I am incredibly excited for this wonderful opportunity and I can't wait for the adventure to come!

Help support me in my first leadership challenge with Global Citizen Year: Fellow fundraising! Over the course of the summer, I am responsible for raising $2,500 to help the Fellow Scholarship Fund, however, my goal is to reach $5,000. Through this short-term, and high-impact initiative, I will raise money to support my cohort, and in the process learn to mobilize my network, effectively communicate my story, and marshal resources to support my cause, all of which are skills that will benefit me as an entrepreneurial leader.

The funds I raise go directly into the Fellow Scholarship Fund. This fund is used to provide scholarships and financial assistance to over 80% of Global Citizen Year Fellows. In this way, your donation helps make Global Citizen Year an experience that is accessible to ALL students...so please, JOIN ME in our movement to transform the world's emerging leaders by donating today!

Thank you for your generosity!
