Thank you for setting the pace!

The RunBoston team did an amazing job training for the Boston Marathon,© and raising funds to support our programs every step of the way.

Your tax-deductible contribution has helped the RunBoston team meet its pledge goal. Which as we all know, is no easy task!

Let your friends and neighbors know about how they can also support the RunBoston team [] and help make walking and pedestrian needs a basic part of the transportation discussion.

Thanks again for supporting RunBoston and we hope to see you this summer at a WalkBoston event. As we say, on Marathon Day the Boston Athletic Association looks out for the safety of runners; the other 364 days a year it’s up to WalkBoston.

Stuff About Me:

Just a little back story on how I got here.  Two years ago I planned to run the Boston Marathon.  After preparing for the marathon I received the opportunity to interview for my current position at The Catholic University of America, so sadly I missed out on the marathon.  On the other hand I am now happily employed at a great place so I have no regrets about the decision I made.  I never really planned to run it again, however, in January I ran out of coffee at work (a borderline disaster).  I really like a specific brand of coffee from Trader Joe's so I decided to run there.  It was about 6.5 miles.  I felt great after completing the run. I decided to push myself some after that and kept running further and further.  Finally about three weeks ago I timed one of my runs and realized that I was a little faster than I thought.  So I decided I would run the marathon as a bandit.  About a week and a half ago I came across this charity and discovered that it still had some bibs available.  The charity ( really provides services that I feel are important considering I walk to work every day!!!  I decided to join it and raise money and run the marathon officially.  So now all I have to do is raise the money and run the marathon.  Please help!!!
