Stuff About Me:

My Dad (Joseph Gazza) passed away two years ago battling from multiple types of cancer which was linked to his service in Vietnam. My Dad was a Vietnam Veteran and Revere Firefighter (32 years). He was so honored and proud to be a Marine and firefighter. Being a Marine had a lasting impact on the way in which my dad lived his life. Semper Fi, “always faithful” was a term my dad stayed true to for his entire life during and after the Marines. Marines are infused with Semper Fi, and all it means, and because they lived it for so long, they have difficulty accepting less from others. I am so honored and excited to be part of the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Marathon team to run in memory of my hero, my dad, but to also run for the men and women who give their lives for our nation. I am also running for all of the families that have been impacted by their family members’ service in current and past wars. Seeing how much our Veterans and their families sacrifice is such an admirable display of their honor for our country.
