On behalf of Break the Silen…
On behalf of Break the Silence against Domestic Violence we want to express our appreciation for your generosity in support of The Return of Social Change Tour. Your personal commitment was incredibly helpful and has given us the opportunity to host community forums in five new cities this year. Your assistance means so much to me but even more to our BTS Sisters. Thank you from all of us.

Just wanted to send a friendly notice to all of our amazing donors!

We have sent out copies of our documentary on a uniquely designed USB flash drive. This drive is the wooden crafted piece you may have received in the mail already. Simply plug it into your computer and watch our completed documentary in the comfort of your own home.

If you would like a copy for a friend, simply invite them to donate on our online fundraiser before February 28th.

We appreciate you and love you!

Break the Silence against Do…
Break the Silence against Domestic Violence thanks you for your generosity, love, and support!

We are very excited to kick off our second national tour initiative to bring more education and awareness about domestic violence to communities across the country. Our documentary features survivors speaking out and sharing the harsh reality about this growing epidemic. Our hope is that through our local community events we will truly impact thousands of lives. Each tour stop will also include local community speakers to address relationship violence and expand the resources we can provide to towns nationwide.

With your support we can make sure small towns like Benson, Minnesota or Abilene, Texas are served.

Thank you so much for investing in our future!

PS. If you have donated $100 or more to our tour fundraiser you will be awarded one complimentary ticket to our upcoming Evening of Hope Gala here in beautiful San Diego on February 7th. To redeem your ticket, please email by January 30th.

We hope you have an amazing day!

Yours truly,

Thank you so much for invest…
Thank you so much for investing in your community!

In case you are not too familiar with our programs and services and the impact we make on the grand scale..

Please let me explain:

1) The National Tour is a speaking tour to communities around the country. We are hoping to do 10 stops to educate communities about domestic violence and bringing in speakers locally and from our team to address the issue. This is a national effort to bring education and awareness to the cities our supporters have chosen.

2) Our women's retreat and our conference are both national programs. For our women's retreat in particular we serve more women outside of California - we serve many "backyards" because we are committed to helping survivors nationwide. Also, our conference (and I'm not sure if there are even other conferences that do) but ours is a national FREE conference for individuals to learn about domestic violence and topics surrounding the issue.

3) Our advocate hotline and online resources serve more individuals outside of California.

These are only three of our main ways we help people and continue to bring awareness about domestic violence not just in San Diego, but nationwide.

By supporting a national effort like our fundraiser we fund our marketing, development, programming, operations and much more so we can make all of this possible.

Thank you again for believing in us! We have extended our fundraiser through the end of February so each of our teams can reach their $2,000 goal. Thank you so much!

Words can't express how than…
Words can't express how thankful we are for your generous contribution to our second National Tour fundraiser. Your donation is going to be put to great use to give our organization the opportunity to spread awareness about domestic violence through our incredible speakers and featuring our Return of Social Change Documentary.

Our goal is to raise $2,000 per tour stop to help cover the costs of traveling, operation expenses, and also fundraising for Break the Silence against Domestic Violence. Help support our teams!

Please help us spread the word by sharing our fundraiser link on your social media channels and with your network.

Much blessings and Happy New Year,

Stuff About Me:

My name is Jenna, I live in Benson, Minnesota. We are a small town of around 3,500 people and are located in rural central Minnesota. Though are town is small, it is full of people that have extended there arms out to those who need and to help others succeed!

We have a wonderful youth program in our town, The Heartland Girls Ranch, that provides strength-based, trauma-informed services and therapeutic equine programming in a safe and supportive environment that empowers girls to experience success and write a new story for themselves. Within the Ranch, they have become of of the state's few centers for the new Safe Harbor Law, In which they house and help girls that have been sexually exploited and  they enact the Hearts for Freedom program for sexually trafficked girls. These programs have helped to open a large base of community organizations and members that want to help make our community and this world a safe place!

I believe that having the BTS team stop in Benson as a part of their 2015 tour, would be an amazing opportunity for both advocates in the area and to bring the school aged teens and their parents into the same loop so that we may open our eyes to realities of Domestic Violence and the effect that it to, has on our youth and the men and women in our community. Within my circle here, Swift County is part of the Safe Avenues Crisis and Shelter House coverage area and would benefit greatly from a fresh, new opportunity to bring awareness to the domestic violence problem. I also enjoy working very closely with the wonderful women at Someplace Safe, another women's crisis center option in our local area.

Someplace Safe has worked directly with me through my experiences in domestic violence and helped me get through every moment of it, with their help. In 2012 I was kidnapped from my home in Clontarf, MN by my ex-boyfriend and severely beaten for many hours before the police found me. The help of the local police officers, the domestic violence advocates, my friends and family and the huge hearts of our wonderful community, got me through the following year of recovery. I could not have asked for a better place to call home.

Since my attack I have joined a few organizations all with the intent of raising awareness and putting an end to domestic violence. I enjoy advocating in my free time and trying to use my experience to help others. I believe the BTS Fierce 11 will do just that for our tight knit community! Hope to see you in Benson, MN- in 2015!!!
