Jennifer Gilmer preeclampsia battle for baby Zack
Organized by: Katie Arrabal
Jennifer Glimer is an amazing mother, soon to be a mother of two! Her first born Will went thru a very traumatic delivery. She had developed preeclampsia he was brought into this world a little shy of 24 weeks. She spent months traveling across the bridge to see her baby in ICU. The two hour round trip seemed like nothing compared 30 mins she would get to see her son. The idea of another child seemed like a huge field dream. She had settled that Will would be her one and only. Well God had other plan for her. She was such and amazing mother so he blessed her with baby Zach. Well here we are again fallowing in his big brothers footsteps. Between high blood pressure and preeclampsia Jennifer was told over a month ago that she could no longer work. Her body could not handle the stress and Doctors orders she was told to take a leave of absence and go home until her blood pressure was under control. Last night Jennifer had a horrible feeling she went to the Doctor the next day. They have told her she has again developed preeclampsia and that she will be admitted to the hospital until she is able to go into labor. Jennifer is a day over 23 weeks, baby Will made his big entrance at 24 weeks. He was so small this little guy is even smaller. Baby Zach is measuring 7inches and only 11oz at this time. Jennifer needs our help! Being out of work this long. Who knows how long this war with her body will last. Further more she has a long fight when it's time to go home. The last thing she needs to worry about is bills. Another reason for starting this page is to be able to fly her mother in so she can help after the baby is born. Right now the scariest thing is the unknown. Her mind is going crazy wondering why?!? She has gone to every doctors appointment. Taken all the recommended meds, read what to expect when your expecting. As we wait for answers please pray for Jennifer and for Baby Zach's safe homecoming. She has gone to the local health dept to ask for assistance. Unfortunately they could not help her. If she can not work and has a 1 1/2 year old how is she supposed to make ends meet. As humble as Jennifer is she now has to ask for help. If you can find it in your heart please donate to Jennifer and her fight to meet baby Zach. If you can not donate please share this on your page. Thank you for all of you kind words and prayers. I believe the power of prayer gave baby Will life! Please please please pray for baby Zachs safe homecoming!
