Married and the mother of two young daughters, Ms. Sproul became a permanent Maryland resident upon graduation from Loyola University in 2000. At that same time, her employment in the construction industry began. Currently, she serves as the Marketing Manager for PRIME AE Group, Inc., a full service architecture and engineering firm based in Catonsville. Among other markets, PRIME’s architectural group focuses on K-12 schools. In addition to helping with various GEEF events throughout the year, Ms. Sproul is heavily involved with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) on both a local level and national. She is the immediate past president of the Baltimore Chapter, current Block Kids Chapter Chairperson, MAGIC Camp Chairperson, Mentoring Program Chairperson, and National Professional Development and Education Co-Chair. She also serves at a Northeast Region Trustee.
Two years ago, I was asked to be a chaperone for GEEF’s LEAD for Tomorrow program. I spent a day touring a construction site and a landfill with some of the students that GEEF supports. From that day on, I was hooked. GEEF truly makes a difference in the lives of the students of Harford County. Not to sound cliché, but the children are our future. Time spent supporting them, is time well spent.
