Jennifer Scullin-McCarthy's Fundraiser:

Jenny vs the Marathon - Part 3

THE STORY:

For the past three years, wanting to get to the finish line of the Boston Marathon has been a challenge greater than I ever expected. From the extreme heat that ended my race in 2012 at mile 22, to the terrible tragedy of 2013 that ended my race at mile 20, to the difficult training all winter I've never given up my need to cross the finish line. Finding the strength to keep going has been a challenge and I've looked toward people in my life as inspiration to never give up. That is why for this year, I am running in memory of Bill McCarthy whose strength to keep going no matter the challege inspired many to achieve while never accepting defeat.
