Biking is a sport that I enjoy doing with my family and friends. But it has become an even more important cause in recent years as I've used this hobby to raise money and awareness to fight human trafficking. This will be my fourth year biking 200 miles in one day for the sake of saving lives. Our OK200 team has raised over $110,000 in the last 4 years with $60,000 of that being raised in 2015 . That money has been used to support safe houses for sex traffic survivors in both Nepal and in Des Moines, and to fully fund a film about trafficking awareness called "Don’t Get in the Van". Hundreds of lives have been positively impacted by the OK200 ride. It is not a stretch to say that lives are being saved because of the OK200 ride. This past year, I had the privilege of constructing a privacy fence around a safe house in Des Moines that our organization supports to save girls locally from a life of slavery. Your donations make a real difference in lives locally and around to world. Thank you for your generosity.
