We are doing this walk and fundraiser in honor of our son Jeremy Pearson. He was a wonderful son and brother that entered the service after graduation and went on to serve this nation overseas in Afghanistan. Jeremy was always the person that put others before himself and we were lucking enough to hear from many of his fellow soldiers that contacted us to tell us it was because of Jeremy's unselfishness along with his sense of humor that they were able to make it through their deployments. When Jeremy returned he had his ups and downs but he would always tell us things were ok. One night for a reason we will never know why Jeremy took his life and left our family devastated. We all think of him everyday and miss him everyday. There are so many little things we wish we would have realized when he was here to have helped him get past his problems. Since that day we have been involved with some veteran gatherings and have found out that 22 veterans a day commit suicide. We do this walk in honor of those 22 a day and all those who think that there is no other way to make it to tomorrow. If through this walk we can save one life or help educate people to see the signs to help others it makes it all worth the effort. Please if you can help out with a donation or can make the walk It be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for all your help.
