As you might know, I’m a mentor to an amazing high school student named Gio through iMentor, a stellar organization that partners with an entire high school to provide volunteer mentors who act as personal college coaches for every student. Many of these students don't speak English as their first language, have parents who were unable to attend college, or don't have a support system at home to help them prepare for post-high school education. Over the past two years, I've worked with Gio to raise his grades, explore his career interests, and identify colleges that interest him. I've watched Gio grow personally and academically and been lucky to share his successes, thanks to the support I receive from iMentor. I'd be so grateful if you would consider making a donation to sponsor my relationship with Gio -- and the 3,500 other iMentor pairs in NYC. It costs $1,000 per year to support each pair, and every contribution helps more mentors reach more students. Every student deserves an opportunity to go to college. Thanks in advance for your support.
