Jerome Ashby Scholarship
Organized by: Adam Krauthamer
It is my great privilege to be raising money for the Jerome Ashby Scholarship at The Juilliard School and hope you will contribute to celebrate his life and his legacy. The Jerome Ashby Scholarship, established in 2011, is given out to a deserving Juilliard student every year to honor Jerome - a dedicated teacher, world class horn player, loving father, and loyal friend.
Throughout his career as a performer and teacher Jerome Ashby had a profound affect on many people. Whether it was his beautiful music or his infectious personality - Jerome had a gift for putting people at ease. Before he passed away in 2007 after a long battle with prostate cancer, he had given so much to his friends, family, students and the music community.
Today we have the opportunity to give back and honor his life by donating to the Jerome Ashby Scholarship. This fall, I am running the NYC marathon with my friend Damian Primis to fundraise for this great cause. I hope you will contribute to the scholarship and if you want to get involved on your own please forward this message to all of your contacts to honor a great musician, teacher and friend.
Please donate by clicking on the orange DONATE banner on the top right hand side of the page. All collections are tax deductable and will be donated to The Jerome Ashby Scholarship at The Juilliard School to carry this important cause well into the future.
My Sincerest Gratitude,
