I am a 24 year old guy that is studying psychology and loves working with children and teens. God has completely changed my life recently and has prompted me to give myself to him in the form of service work. I am so grateful for the new life I have been given and for the opportunities in front of me. This three month adventure tops off a year long internship I will be doing at my local church. The internship focuses on middle school and high school kids ministries, working behind the scenes and on the main stage. January 2016 brings me to downtown Jerusalem. I will be connecting with local kids soccer teams, English as a second language clubs at Universities, and interacting with the local population at stores and restaurants. I am there to learn about the people, to understand their suffering, and to hopefully provide some light ray of hope away from that suffering. I was radically saved from suffering myself and want to help provide that amazing and freeing life change to other people. I have an especially soft spot for older children and young teens. This opportunity is led by world ministry leaders who are helping me learn how to bring people into the kingdom and how to love people all around the world. The middle east is going through a lot these days. There is so much warfare and discontent it seems. I don't plan on saving the world for everyone, but I do know that God can use me the whole world of one person. My goal is $8k and any extra will go directly towards my self funded internship that I am doing surrounding this journey. I am blessed to have this in my life. Thank you so much for checking this fundraiser out! Thank you for what you're already doing and for any donation made. I send all of my love out.
