Theres nothing better than getting in shape for a good cause. After running a couple of 5ks I felt I was finally ready to take my workout to the next level. I have never before run a 10k and frankly I am scared.
I began this journey 2 years ago when I signed up for a job to help fight diabetes and obesity in the native american community. Being Seminole Indian, I too felt it was important to control my own destiny. I must fight against my genetics everyday!
Eating right and living healthy have become a better part of my life. In addition I find there is nothing more rewarding than to participate in the Run10Feed10 to fundraise for the fight against hunger!
