Jessica Walker is a passionate animal-lover who after years of volunteering her time, house, and money to rescued animals now needs help from them. At the young age of 16 she was diagnosed with a severe form of Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism. At 18 her list of diagnoses grew to include Chronic Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) in part due to her other chronic autoimmune disease and to experiencing an abusive situation repeatedly. In this past year her autoimmune and psychiatric diseases have progressed and left her in need of help and because of this she is housebound. Currently she is 20 and awaiting a Service Dog that is trained to help her. Through all of this she stays positive and even hopes to one day go to veterinary school with the help of a Service Dog to help the animal community even more. Will you help this young girl, just starting her independent life, reach her goal?
