My name is Jesus Delgado and I am a graduate of Anaheim High School. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and with a seal of biliteracy. I am currently a sophomore in Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, CA. Thanks to scholarships, pell grants, school grants, work study and money from parents and family, I am almost able to pursue my dream to continue college. Currently I am $15,000 short from the cost to continue with this school year. I will start working in the next couple of days and will thus be able to lower the bill.
In total, my parents and I have applied to about 9 different banks, all of which have declined our loan. I am the first in my family to go to college and would like to graduate on time without any interruptions. My only option was to sign up for the payment plan. While it’s a temporary fix, I need to find a solution. I have 3 months to pay the school $15,000. My parents are barely making ends meet and they in no possible way can afford to help out with more money. We are literally living paycheck to paycheck.
I would be so grateful if you could help me reach my fundraising goal of $15,000 through a donation to this page. The donation doesn’t have to be big; it’s the thought that counts. Thank you for supporting my education.
I will personally send every donor a hand written letter thanking you.
