JFS’ specialty food pantry is the only one of its kind in Washtenaw County, and is deeply relied on as a community leader in fighting hunger. The pantry offers food for people with dietary and religious restrictions, including kosher, low-sodium, gluten-free, liquid nutrition, Halal, and infant nutrition and products, and personal care products. JFS also offers home delivery to homebound elderly and disabled clients. The pantry has served 2,100 individuals since the beginning of 2015. In order to remain a vital resource in the fight against hunger in Washtenaw County, JFS urgently needs funds for its food pantry so it can continue to fight hunger in Washtenaw County and ensure that it can always provide nutritious food to our community members most in need.
