I'm fulfilling a bucketlist item that I otherwise wouldn't be able to complete: crossing the Boston Marathon finish line. I know what you're thinking, no I'm not running the complete marathon, I think I'll stick with half marathons for not, but I'm running the BAA (Boston Athletic Association) Boston Marathon 5K the sunday before marathon Monday. I will be running with some of my fellow John Hancock employees for the charity Back On My Feet which helps formerly homless individuals develop skills of self sufficiency and independence through running. I will be paired up with an individual from Back On My Feet and running the race together. I have a goal of $300 and I need all your help to achieve that. Anything you could donate would be a huge help and I would really appreciate it.
Let me know if you have any questions. There is a little more information below about John Hancock's partnership with Back On My Feet.

The fifth annual B.A.A. 5K is on Sunday, April 14, 2012. The urban course will take 6,000 runners past historic Boston landmarks and across the Boston Marathon finish line. Join us as we raise money for Back on My Feet.
