Jibril Volunteers for Educational Deaf camp week in Tanzania
Organized by: Jibril Jaha
I am fundraising $1800 to cover all the costs for transportation, food, and accommodations in Tanzania for Educational Deaf Youth Camp Week. All proceeds go directly to the non profit organization called Tanzania Project for the Deaf, (UMIVITA). One of the first non profit U.S and International Deaf program called, IDEAL, International Deaf Education and Leadership, will also be in collaboration with us. You can view their website here. >http://realideal.org/I.D.E.A.L/Welcome_To_IDEAL_-_International_Deaf_Education_Advocacy_&_Leadership.html< Our purpose is to set up an Educational Camp Week for 50 Deaf youths around the country in Tanzania. We will travel to 15 Deaf schools in the area of Tanzania and select students for Deaf camp week. During Deaf camp week, we will have programs and topics related to leadership, education and personal development. The volunteers would like for me to be committed at developing presentations, providing resources and tools to enable Deaf Tanzanian youths. I will be paying for my own airfare to fly from Washington DC to Tanzania one month prior to Tanzania Deaf Camp Week. I am honored and grateful to be part of this historical event and blessed to have your support to volunteer.
