BENEFITING: Transverse Myelitis Association
EVENT DATE: Oct 05, 2013
Before July 25th, 2005, I had no idea of what transverse myelitis was. That day is forever etched in my mind and changed our lives profoundly.
I am so proud of Katherine’s efforts, at first to rehab her spinal cord injury (following the immune system attack) and now to lead a full and complete life.
I decided to become involved with the leading group that focuses on these disorders and am raising money to fund research, education/awareness, and patient/family support.
I am learning that thousands of people suffer from these immune system attacks; many of them children. Persons affected by this disorder suffer some degree of physical impairment, from mild to complete paralysis. Won’t you please help advance this field of study so that people like Katherine have better treatment and therapies in the future?
You are invited to help raise money for KT's Team benefiting Transverse Myelitis Association. Simply click the big JOIN button and create your own fundraising page as a part of our Team. Then ask friends and neighbors to donate to this great cause.
Also, please make a donation by selecting "Donate to this fundraiser" on the right side of this page. Crowdrise asks for an optional donation to help defry the costs of this web site. This is optional, if you wish to do so that's fine; if not - that's ok too.
Thanks so much for your help.
If you wish to donate off-line, please contact me for the mailing address to send your check.
