BENEFITING: Patricia A Dinunzio Ovarian Cancer Fund
An estimated one woman in 71 will develop ovarian cancer during her lifetime. The American Cancer Society estimates that there will be over 22,000 new cases of ovarian cancer diagnosed this year and that more than 15,000 women will die from ovarian cancer this year.
The Patricia A. DiNunzio Ovarian Cancer Fund was established in 2009 to provide support for women in Central Ohio with gynecologic cancers through patient education programs focused on nutrition, exercise, and holistic cancer care. In addition to direct resources for women battling cancer, the Patricia A. DiNunzio Nursing Scholarship Program was established in 2015 to help fund advanced nursing degrees.
For my 30th birthday this year, I am strongly encouraging friends and colleagues to join me in support of the Patricia A. DiNunzio Ovarian Cancer Fund. Please consider a donation of at least $30 and let's make a stand for women's health.
