JERRY'S FLIGHT TO HEALTH
I met Jerry Rheams in the 80"s at Trans World Airlines. He has an unusually bright personality and a kind and generous soul.
I found out that Jerry was not well a few months back on a trip we took to New Orleans. I did not realize how incredibly sick he was until I spoke to him on the phone. My eyes got bigger as he told me how long he had endured all of the health issues from his horrible Blood Transfusion in 1983. I just could not bear to not do something for Jerry!
When you are not well your resources are limited and you don't have the power or energy to do what you would normally be able to. Jerry actually moved to New Orleans in the hopes that they could give him the health care that he needed for his compromised liver. The Oschner Medical Center has finally put him on the Liver Transplant List. So we are all so incredibly thankful for his new hope!
There is an incredible history with our TWA Family and whenever there is a need we are always there to comfort, give, and help! It is an unusual bond that we are all fortunate to have.
We are all hopeful that Jerry Rheams will have a successful procedure and go on to live a healthy life with a Bright Future~
Jerry you deserve it!!
