Jodie's Volunteer Trip To Affrica
Organized by: Jodie Bentley
Hello everyone! My name is Jodie Bentley from New York City and I am 26 years old. I am currently a Jr in college, studying Psychology at Suny Old Westbury, in hopes to be a child counselor. All my life I have had a deep consideration for people's well being and emotional state. I consider myself to be a very loving, driven and caring individual. These qualities that I possess have directed me to my chosen career path, in hopes to make a difference in someone's life. I believe that what produces a healthy individual is unconditional love, and unconditional regard. Recently, I have developed an urge to extend my love and care to those in need of it with the idea of traveling to Africa and volunteering at an orphanage. I have done a significant amount of volunteer work with helping the homeless, cleaning up city parks, and helping the elderly. I feel it is my purpose on earth to help others, to distribute care and love as much as I can. My idea of traveling to Africa would be for the sake of gaining cultural experience outside of America for the first time and ultimately extending my passion of giving and caring to those in need. It would mean the world to me if you could find it in your heart to help me out with such an endeavor. Any amount helps and any amount would be greatly appreciated from every aspect of my heart. Your donations will allow me to partake in something for such great cause. Once again, any amount will help and I thank you with all of my heart. It would be an absolute dream come true. Thank you!
