I typically shy away from revealing or even discussing my MS and how it has and continues to change my life. However, my dear girlfriends had this unbelievable idea to climb and help me get back in a mountain. Please join our efforts in any way you can.
We’ve had a request for a women’s only Jodi’s Climb for Hope rip of Mt. Adams (12,500’) to raise money for promising research for breast cancer and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research. Our amazing expedition company is excited to take us up to the summit with female guides as well. Adams is a beautiful mountain with amazing vistas.
My husband is my best friend, my biggest supporter, my confident, my love, my support & my biggest cheerleader. He wrote this when we decided to make an all women's climb and I am asking all of my friends and acquaintances to please consider donating to this very personal and emotional journey.
"We had so much overwhelming response, we’re going with the First Ever Women’s Climb for Hope event. Jennifer was so touched with the outpouring of support, she committed to going on the climb.

The dates are July 10-13, 2016 (next year). The fundraising minimum will be $2,000.
The expedition company, Rare Earth Adventures, has offered to get Jennifer Buerger to the summit. As most of you know, Jennifer had to retire from climbing because she has MS. Prior to that she climbed Mt Cotopaxi at 19,500’. But, had to turn back on Mt Shasta because of what we’ve now learned were MS symptoms. Rare Earth will potentially carry and pull Jennifer to the summit, so she can be there with you all. And, she can participate in one of her favorite ever activities — glissading (sliding down a mountain on your butt). Again, Jennifer hasn’t decided for sure if she will do it, and she’s excited to be offered the opportunity.
I hope many can be there for this exciting. Please spread the word so we can get a great group to raise a lot of money for MS and breast cancer research.
