The mission of Jodi's Climb for Hope is to find a viable treatment for breast cancer. This year, for the first time, Jodi's Climb for Hope Mt. Adams will be an all-women climb. In addition to raising money for breast cancer research, we are also dedicating a portion of the funds raised towards MS research. As part of our climb, we are carrying a friend suffering with MS to the top of Mt. Adams in a specially designed chair.
Over the years, Climb for Hope has donated over $600,000 to Johns Hopkins University for a vaccine under development, speeding up the work being done by Dr. Leisha Emens. One day this vaccine could be used preventatively in high-risk women.
