My dear friends, colleagues, family and fellow climbers,
I'm out here in Silverado CA for a month working on a project, and Eureka! the second annual Climb4Life is HERE, at Santa Ana's unique and awesome Sender One climbing gym, a couple days prior to my departure back to Logan. This will be my 12th Climb for Life where 10 have been in Salt Lake and one in Boulder. I am super-psyched to participate in the climb, make friends and rally support.
I believe in the cause--we have supported real research and have invested in a promising new generation of scientists who, in conjunction with their medical research professions, are tackling the underlying causes of ovarian cancer with innovative approaches and therapies. We have awareness campaigns that encourage women to receive periodic screenings, as survivability of the disease is improved by early detection. We also provide great climbing experiences for everyone involved.
Please consider donating again to this ongoing charity that promotes Health, Empowerment, Research and Awareness. The HERA foundation continues to support science, champion women's health and provide peak experiences for cancer victims, families, researchers and supporters. It's only a couple of weeks before the event--we'll be having a blast climbing at Chris Sharma's climbing gym, doing yoga and celebrating the progress that has been made to eliminate ovarian cancer. We'll need your support to continue with our programs in the future.
You can catch me at email@example.com, or check our our galleries, organization news and event info at http://www.herafoundation.org. We're asking for all donations to go through the crowdrise site.
Wishing you the best of health and effective medicines if ever needed.
Thanks and see you at the top!
