Joe Budagher Stroke Recovery Fund
Organized by: Brian Quon
No family is ever prepared for the reality of a stroke and the many consequences. Early Christmas Eve morning, the Budagher family was struck by an unexpected and tragic event, Joe Budagher, an adoring husband and father, great friend and well respected community member suffered a stroke. Joe was transported from Montrose Memorial Hospital to Swedish Medical Center in Denver where he has received treatment for the last 3 weeks. Joe and his family are optimistically anticipating that he will be transferred back to Montrose Memorial some time over the next few days so that he can begin the very long and difficult process of recovery in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Although the Budagher family has health insurance, the out of pocket expenses are substantial and will continue to grow. Joe will require extensive rehab and is expected to remain in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Montrose Memorial for at least 4 weeks, and in all probability, require outpatient therapy after he is released. Montrose is an amazing community that pulls together in support of those that live here and I am asking that we come together to assist the Budagher family in their time of need. Thank you for any financial support you can provide.
