BENEFITING: American Red Cross
On March 27, 2008, I became an American Red Cross volunteer. Almost two years later, I became the Regional CEO on March 13, 2010. My passion for helping those in need when they are at their most vulnerable is what drives me every day. As a volunteer, providing food, shelter and clothing for a family who lost all to a fire was very fulfilling. Teaching others to save lives or bringing soldiers home when their family needs them is a gratifying experience. Encouraging others to give life by giving blood is exciting! Making new friends from all walks of life is exciting...especially working side by side, sleeves rolled up in the worst conditions possible.
The American Red Cross is not government funded. It is funded by you! You help us help others. You give us the ability and tools needed to engage volunteers who love to use their time and talent to make a difference.
I am celebrating my four years as a staff member by inviting you to join me in making it possible for us to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors...our Red Cross mission.
Please join me in reaching my goal of $50,000 and if so motivated, send to your friends and ask for their support. You can also join my team and do your own Crowdrise page for the Red Cross. Let me know and I will behappy to help set you up! March is Red Cross Month and I want to reach my goal by March 31st!
Thank You! Together, we will make a difference!
