I am honored to have the opportunity to run the 119th Boston Marathon on behalf of Boston Medical Center. Following the 2013 marathon, I knew that I wanted to run the Boston Marathon and I can not think of a better team to be a part of considering the crucial role that Boston Medical Center played on that day.
This will be the first full marathon that I have ever run and I look forward to completing my personal goal of participating in what many consider to be one of the best marathons.
I will be running in memory of my dad, Salvator Rindone. This April will be exactly three years since I have lost my dad and it is with great pride that I am able to run in his honor. I know that on the day of the race he will be with me helping me cross the finish line.
Fitness has always been a passion of mine and I have always been up for a challenge. I have spent numerous years cheering from the sidelines and with your help in just a few short months I will be able to celebrate the completion of my own 26.2 miles.
Thank you for your generousity!
