Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Joe can soon roll with the wind in his very own Team Hoyt Running Chair. As the father of a very special girl that has races with me nearly 100 times, I know the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", and the love we all have for each other is a therapy like no other.
GETTING JOE "JT" UP AND RUNNING
How do you give back to the guy that would do anything he could for anyone? Help purchase a Specialized Hoyt Running/Biking Chair so he can get out and see the world again. Since Joe's preteen years he has been battling a progressive, debilitating loss of movement, hearing and sight. None of this stopped him from becoming a pharmacist and working at Magee Rehab in Philadelphia until his sight and movement became worse and he could no longer work. This chair is important so his family and friends can get him more active. Plans are to take him running, participating in organized runs and having much more flexibility to participate in activities that his current wheelchair can't accommodate. Although Joe is physically unable to do all the things he wants to, his sprit is ALWAYS happy and positive. He never complains and always loves to share his stories. His intelligence and memory are stronger than ever. Please contribute to help us get Joe "JT" mobile again. What is this freedom worth? PRICELESS
