Nasibo lives with both her parents and six siblings in a loving family in eastern Kenya. The community is traditionally known to value male education much more than female education. Fortunately for Nasibo, her parents understood the importance of education for all and have worked hard to ensure that she and her siblings all received a primary education.
Nasibo is an exemplary Daraja student as she always exhibits a positive attitude, outgoing personality and strong work ethic. She is a member of the Grassroots Girls Club, a club focused on using grassroots techniques to better the living standards of nearby women’s groups. Her leadership abilities and sincere desire to help have shined in this club. She takes her role very seriously and is the main leader during meetings with the local women.
