West Bay CrossFit in San Rafael, CA hopes to raise awareness and funds benefiting Stand Up to Cancer and supporting DogTown CrossFit's Crush Cancer event in October.
A minimum of $20 to participate (either raised or self donated. Bring receipt of donation to play the day of). Please encourage family and friends to donate by sharing our link via social media and email. Cancer touches us all one way or another. Please be an active part of the CrossFit community and Stand Up to Cancer with DogTown CrossFit, West Bay CrossFit, and others globally.
DogTown CrossFit decided to create Crush Cancer after learning that FGB was no longer donating raised funds to any cancer charity. Having a strong community in the gym that had been affected by Cancer, DogTown CF decided to raise their OWN funds all going towards Stand Up to Cancer. A charity that raises awareness and supports ALL cancer research. Going into their fourth year, this event has now grown globally with gyms overseas now participating, and even Stand Up to Cancer has taken noticed and supported DogTown CF last year in this event as it was the off season to their telethon. The Crush Cancer event has raised more funds for Stand Up to Cancer, than Major League Baseball! Talk about a STRONG community (in more ways than one) Stand up with us, Crush Cancer!
