I have joined TeamFaithquest and their ever-growing team of RAGNAR relay runners to bring transformation to Malawi Africa. The race itself is 202 miles (Huntington Beach to Coronado via the mountains) of day and night running over 30+ hours. Not sure if I'm looking forward to running a near-marathon amount of miles, but I'm excited for the challenge and for the opportunity to raise money for such a great cause.
Faithquest Missions works to bring hope and transformation to impoverished communities in Africa. TeamFaithquest, through the participation in this RAGNAR race, has raised nearly $50,000 in the past 2 years. We are hoping to raise even more funds for the transformational work of building sustainable development in the impoverished communities of the Nkhoma and Chilenje valleys in Malawi, Africa! If desired, read more at Cause Profile
If you have a heart for doing something about the challenges ravishing Africa, please make a donation. In addition to motivating my efforts on race day, your donations will, literally, save lives.
What's in it for you?
- Happiness! Research has shown that those who spend money on others feel happier than those who spend money on themselves.
- Charitable contribution = tax write off
- You just bought the right to heckle and act is if you have a say in my training regimen.
My goal is to raise $2,000 and I need your help. Please consider donating a slightly uncomfortable amount of $$$ - you'll be glad you did!
Thank you in advance for your donation of any size towards my goal! Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. If you would, please forward to friends to share the story and let others join us in this effort by running or donating too! Many of us taking hands and uniting with one another for action will win the day! Together let's fight for the poor, hungry, thirsty, and lost of Malawi and the world! - Johno
