I am John Kayima, the newly elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mission for All (MIFA). MIFA's vision is to be an organization excelling in holistic child and community development. We are now more than 30 years old, and we have been serving vulnerable and needy children for quality education in Uganda. We sponsor about 500 children for education at progressive levels starting from primary, secondary, tertiary, vocational and all the way up to university. Since MIFA's inception, we have produced over 3.000 alumni in different professions including medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers and business entrepreneurs. Others have been trained to become carpenters, tailors and mechanics. We are extremely highly-motivated, passionate and happy about the role we are playing and the contribution we are making towards the elimination of illiteracy and ignorance in our society. We also run a street children's rehabilitation programme, in which our social workers rescue street children from Kampala City and other towns in Uganda, rehabilitate and educate them in our "Ebenezer Rehabilitation Home", give them the necessary tools and equipment and then ultimately re-unite them with their families/guardians for re-integration back into the community, as responsible and self-reliant citizens. We started this programme in 2003 with boys, but we are now inspired to move on to incorporate the street "girl child" who is even more vulnerable. We are all very excited about this new direction we want to take. Well-thought-out strategies and plans for this programme have already been made and documented, but we are encumbered from moving ahead in this new year 2016, by lack of funding/financial support. We now urgently need to construct a girls' dormitory for housing the young girls and their caretakers. This project has already been costed at US $ 30,000. We are therefore appealing to all of you people in this wide world, to kindly help us raise funds for this noble project. Please! Please! Please! After the completion of the dormitory and the bringing in of the street girl children, we will still need even more funds to sponsor the girls to go through their rehabilitation, education and re-integration programme successfully. We shall therefore be extremely grateful to receive your donations and support toward this worthy cause. Thank you everybody!
