BENEFITING: U.S. Fund for UNICEF
Every day, more than 19,000 children die of preventable causes. Malnutrition. Unsafe drinking water. Lack of an affordable vaccine. These are things a child in the U.S. rarely ever has to worry about.
UNICEF - the United Nations Children's Fund - is doing whatever it takes to reduce child mortality and reach a day when the number of children dying from preventable causes is not 19,000—it is ZERO.
Every child deserves food, water, and a roof above their heads. Every child deserves to live. That is why JHUNICEF, the official UNICEF Campus Club at the Johns Hopkins University, has entered the 2013-14 UNICEF Campus Challenge for the third year in a row. Through a series of fundraising events, and the generous donations of our families, friends, and colleagues, we hope to be able to contribute towards improving the lives of millions of impoverished children worldwide.
The smallest donation can make a significant impact, so please give what you can and help save a child's life!
