Join Chicago's Flight for Hope and Equality!
Organized by: Rich Alapack
Flyboy needs your help! Only your name can give him the power to fly over Chicago in the name of Hope and Equality! we all live here is a Chicago organization started to create ways to remind people to get along and help each other succeed. We create public art projects at schools using our positive and inclusive phrase as a theme. In order to share our message and to inspire the kids we work with we have created an exciting project to fly Chicago Artist Hebru Brantley's Flyboy character on a banner over all Chicago neighborhoods. The money raised will go towards creating the banner that flies behind a plane (100'x40' - $10,800), flying the plane for 8 hours ($8,000), and documenting this experience for all kids to see ($11,200). For as little as $1 YOUR NAME will be added to this MASSIVE 100 foot by 40 foot work of public art that will fly over all Chicago neighborhoods for 8 hours on 11/8. After the flight, the Banner will be displayed at all future we all live here school project unveilings and other appearances at events around the city properly honoring those who believed in Hope and Equality and brought the project to life. We believe this project has the power to create a positive news story for a city that has had too many negative headlines. Please give Flyboy the power he needs to fly over the city of Chicago in the name of Hope and Equality because we all live here.
