BENEFITING: CENTAUR STRIDE INC
EVENT DATE: Mar 17, 2013
Hi, my name is Jonah. I am eight years old, and I started riding Pixie at Centaur Stride last year! ( I started there riding Maple when I was three..but now that I’m growing up…Maple is too little for me!). Pixie has helped me in so many ways. She has taught me how to balance and has helped me to learn to walk. My stomach muscles are much stronger. I have also learned so much from Centaur Stride. I love riding through the woods, especially the Spooky Forest, and participating in the “go get it” scavenger hunts. Pixie is blind in one eye and she has learned that she has to trust me and her leader. She is very gentle and just wants to be loved. The instructors said they think she was born that way because she’s so used to it and probably doesn’t know what it’s like any other way. And I love her just the way she is- perfect!
Now I want to help Centaur Stride and all the other kids who ride there. I’m going to be walking for Team Pixie to help raise the $3500 needed to take care of her for the next year. If you want to join me on March 17 at the Chautauqua Mall, you can be on my team. If you can’t make it, you can sponsor me. I know I’ll be able to walk the entire four laps this year! Thanks for helping me to help Centaur Stride!
