CHANGE FOR THE CHILDREN FOUNDATION wrote -
As you know, we’re huge believers in giving back. We’re deeply involved in volunteering in projects around the world, supporting the Special Olympics, and raising awareness for diabetes so we can one day find a cure. We started The Change for the Children Foundation to support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed. And we think the best people to help children are their peers -- kids helping other kids who are a little less fortunate.
Please click the giant orange DONATE button and give what you can to support our efforts. Every dollar helps and we’re determined to show that the power of the crowd is real, that lots of small donations add up, and that with your help, we can create meaningful change.
Go a step further and join our team by clicking on the giant JOIN THE TEAM button in the upper right. You’ll have your own Crowdrise page as part of our Team. You can personalize your page with your own photos and stories about how you're giving back. We encourage you to share your personal page with all your friends and family and ask them to donate to Jonas Brothers & Fans for Change. Imagine the impact we can have, all working together to raise money and awareness for such important causes.
“Each and every time I watch Special Olympic Athletes compete I am inspired. I am grateful to have the opportunity to lend my support to such a wonderful organization as the Special Olympics and invite all of my fans to show their support as well through volunteering.” – Joe
“If you'd like you can have your friends and family sponsor your volunteer efforts by donating to the Change for the Children Foundation after you join the team. It's a great way to raise awareness for your efforts and also to motivate you to volunteer.” - Kevin
“In March 2007, almost a year and a half after my diagnosis, I publicly announced that I have diabetes at Carnival For a Cure. I knew I wanted to go public and that seemed like the right time. I guess I wanted to kind of get “comfortable” with my diabetes before telling the world about it. Please support me in my effort to raise money for the Jonas Brothers Change for the Children Foundation to help raise awareness for diabetes and find a cure.” - Nick
