BENEFITING: Operation Access
I have been challenged to seriously get back into long distance running. I'll admit that my post-post-collegiate long distance training has really been kicking my behind, but it is one of my life's passions. My first half marathon race will be on Sunday, 29 July 2017, at the San Francisco Marathon event.
What better way is there to enjoy my life's passions than to have you show your support of me and my endeavors, and to allow your support to benefit multiple others who are in dire need? Please read an excerpt below about the non-profit organization that I am pledging to help to raise funds for, and also check out their website.
"Operation Access makes it possible for low-income, uninsured people to get needed surgical and specialty care, free of charge, through a medical volunteer network in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Sonoma counties.
These people are simply trying to make ends meet-- to provide for their families and care for their children. They cannot afford to pay for necessary medical care out of pocket. We bring them healing and hope, and enable them to live healthy and productive lives." Source: .
Your monetary donation of any amount will help support Operation Access and shall be greatly appreciated by me and those patients who receive medical treatment! God bless!!
