Despite their love of the game and passion to play, many children throughout the United States and the world aren't able to play the great game of baseball, due to the expensive costs of equipment. My name is Jonathan Reiss, and for my Bar Mitzvah Service Project, I am trying to help those kids be able to play baseball. To do this, I am helping a nonprofit organization called Pitch in for Baseball. Pitch in for Baseball devotes all their time to one goal: to give underprivileged kids the equipment they need to play the game of baseball. Pitch in for Baseball relies on volunteers, such as me, to create drives and fundraisers in order to obtain gently used or new baseball and softball equipment. I am running a drive and fundraiser in the Great Falls and Reston, Virginia areas to help all those kids who lack that equipment to play the game of baseball. All equipment and money raised goes directly to Pitch in for Baseball, which uses all the money gained from fundraisers to buy new equipment, so even people who don't have equipment to give can help the cause. If you have equipment to donate, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or text me at 703-755-5281, and I will arrange to pick up the equipment. If you want to donate money so that the equipment can be purchased, please donate through this website. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause and the underprivileged children of the world.
